The Mid-Eastern Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (MEAEOPP) is more than an organization—we are a dynamic community of educators, advisors, and leaders united by a single, powerful mission: to open the doors of higher education for those who need it most.

As the regional professional association for TRIO and educational opportunity personnel from Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, we are the collective voice and support system for those on the front lines of educational equity. We bring together passionate individuals who share a deep commitment to the educational and cultural development of TRIO students and all underrepresented and underserved individuals.

MEAEOPP is proud to be one of ten regional associations forming the backbone of the TRIO network nationwide. In this crucial role, we are a dedicated partner to the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE), working in lockstep to expand college opportunities for low-income, first-generation students, and students with disabilities across the country.
