MEAEOPP SCHOLARSHIP

The Mid-Eastern Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel hosts an annual scholarship competition to award a select number of scholarships each year to deserving TRIO students, including pre-college, college, and adult participants.  Nominating programs must be members of MEAEOPP for their students to be considered.

This year the application packet is not a fillable pdf, but instead a Google form, which makes it easier and more efficient to send to our readers. Please note that you should receive two confirmation emails, one from Google confirming your form was submitted, followed by one from Loriann Irving, MEAEOPP Scholarship Chair.  If you do not receive the initial confirmation from Google, please reach out to Loriann to confirm your application was received.

Please follow all directions carefully to submit your nomination by midnight on January 19, 2024.  Each program that is a MEAEOPP member is allowed to nominate 1 student for a possible award of $1,000.  Ten total awards of $1,000 each will be announced at the conference breakfast in February.  All award winners and Project Directors will be notified via email in late July or early August 2024 so we can verify winners' attendance at a postsecondary institution for fall 2024.
